TE-PEACE-NNESS

‘Wherever you are, and whatever you do, be in love’ Rumi

You know that? You drive into a traffic jam that clearly causes you to be late for your appointment, at the same time you spill your take-away coffee on your clean blouse and it starts to rain and you don't have an umbrella with you.
Practical things that go a little differently than expected.

At the same time, everything moves in your thoughts and emotions. Perhaps you are in the process of processing a completed relationship or puzzling over your new mortgage.

The word peace is in the word satisfaction. And those 2 have a lot to do with each other..
Inner peace and tranquility are sometimes hard to find. Life sometimes seems like a quest to be content with life itself..

Contentment is the second of the 5 Niyamas of Patanjali, the founder of the Yoga Sutras. his yamas and niyamas are guidelines for a life of strength, peace and flow.
The 5 Niyamas are purity, contentment, simplicity, self-study, and surrender.

Contentment is the smell of being aware of the present moment.
When you fight against the present moment, your circumstances, or bystanders, you are fighting against life, against yourself.

Contentment does not imply resignation, nonchalance or ‘letting go’. Satisfaction is an acceptance; an embrace of what is at the moment, in the midst of all challenges.

Satisfaction appears when you give up attachment to control, recognition and power. You determine satisfaction yourself and you can practice. Contentment gives you a euphoric feeling from within. It brings peace and tranquility to your mind. It brings you back to the source of peace in your heart.

Once I heard the story about a deer that produces a smell in its body. The deer endlessly wanders through the forests in search of where the smell comes from, but will not find its source. The smell comes from his own belly button.
What we sometimes look for all our lives is inherent in ourselves.

We develop contentment and peace by getting our desires a little in sight. When there are only desires, we cannot feel full. Rather, we feel inferior. ‘I'm not enough, I don't have enough, it's not enough " are the thoughts that echo in our minds, increasing dissatisfaction. A negative spiral of self-rejection and the vain search for fulfillment and fulfillment arises.

Fullness, experiencing the fullness of all the possibilities of life, of oneself, of the moment, in gratitude, is the first step towards inner liberation and real peace in the midst of an ever-changing world.

* Embrace yourself and life as it is. From there you are better able to change things to your liking
* Create clarity and calm in your mind by being in silence more often
* Acknowledge yourself, you are enough, you have enough
* Put the other person at the center instead of your own complaining
* Be determined to direct your thoughts
* Develop discernment and flexibility to respond more effectively and harmoniously to life
• Live with gratitude
