Heart to Heart expands with a retreat spot at a dream location!

For years I have dreamed of an expansion of Heart House / Heart to Heart. Building a bridge across the border to a peaceful natural place in the light, near the sea, that was always my idea.

Last summer I asked myself if my dream would ever come true. Just as Heart House came to fruition, I cherished my intention and went to take a look here and there from time to time.

And then, unexpectedly, miraculously, a chain of events arose. Meetings with special people as messengers on my path, which like a chain led to the current result: the purchase of this beautiful old masía (old Catalan farmhouse with estate) full of possibilities!

Yes! I signed!! Heart to Heart Spanje is in wording! So exciting and fun!

Imagine: on top of a hill in the middle of a vast nature reserve in the hills lies a masia from 1700, partly built of large old stones. Pilgrims used to stay and eat here on their way to Barcelona.

This old authentic Spanish farmhouse is surrounded by various gardens, terraces, farmland and woodland and a diversity of trees and plants. An ancient tree stretches its branches over the side of the House. From the main terrace you look over the hills and your eye reaches to the coast where the sea begins.

The farmhouse was renovated 13 years ago and will undergo another renovation in the coming months to make it retreat and airbnb proof.

What makes it even more special is that I was able to take over this paradise from a very special and heartwarming person who fully supported the new mission of his estate. The transfer has been full of positive and fine energy and that atmosphere hangs in the farm.

The location ticks all the boxes:

  • Estate in the middle of nature with a wide view over the hills,
  • Lots of greenery and space
  • Near the sea
  • 3 water sources
  • Large saltwater swimming pool
  • Driving from the Netherlands
  • Good train connection
  • 2 airports (Girona, Barcelona) within 1 hour distance
  • 8 bedrooms with 2 beds each, and a studio and more sleeping options
  • A tennis court (it was not on my list but how nice to have it for the sports lovers!)

Books? The future possibilities in Masia Heart to Heart:

  • Rest a few days as an individual (or with your partner or girlfriend) in a ‘holistic airbnb’
  • Sign up for one of the retreats we are going to organize
  • Rent the location as a trainer, ex-or including catering and other services, for your own group! (20 people)
  • Rent the location for your management team, family meeting, wedding party or executive board / brainstorm meeting
  • Stay there for your hiking / tennis / cycling holiday
  • Book your Sun-Sea-relax holiday in a unique place in a holistic setting
  • Book your private yoga class or a massage

In the coming months I will be in Spain regularly to supervise the renovation.
